Concept Laser machines have been used in production to manufacture complex conformally cooled tool inserts since 2001. Concept Laser has received numerous patents covering conformally-cooled tooling inserts, parallel cooling, the hybrid build style (combining LaserCUSING® with the benefits of CNC) and the stochastic build strategy where we separate the build process into islands to reduce residual stresses.
